Dogg Pound is a West Coast rap duo comprised of Kurupt and Daz Dillinger. The group made their first appearance on Dr. Dre's "The Chronic," appearing on several songs. Dogg Pound is also closely associated with Snoop Dogg. Kurupt as a solo artist has gained wide acclaim for his lyricism and has been cited by many of the most important MCs of today, such as Kendrick Lamar, as a key influence.
